Cultivating the next generation of talented digital artists is our passion and we put our money where our dreams are. The Switch Scholarship Award is in place at five major Ontario colleges in support of visual effects and animation graduates and we are the host and main sponsor of the Animation Lounge, a new education platform launched to spark creativity.

Meet the Leadership Team

Pete Denomme

Executive Producer / CEO

As Executive Producer and CEO of Switch, Pete will never let anyone forget his humble beginnings as a classically trained animator.

Fast forward more than 30 years later, 10 as President/Executive Producer at Alliance Atlantis, 30 feature films and something like 50 thousand television credits, Pete continues to feed his passion by developing a full slate of intellectual properties and co-productions, coaching young talent and actively participating on industry boards and committees.

Jon Campfens

Co-founder Switch VFX / VFX Supervisor

Jon has spent three decades working in the film industry. He started out with humble beginnings as a cameraman on the optical printer with the National Film Board of Canada and worked his way up to a VFX Supervisor with over 100 films and television projects, and multiple awards to his credit.

He has worked with some of the most creative Directors including Guillermo del Toro, Norman Jewison, and David Cronenberg and studios including Universal, Disney, Skydance and emerging players such as Netflix and Prime studios. His award list is numerous and includes an Emmy nomination, four Gemini nominations, a Gemini win, and International Monitor Award. He also holds professional members in the Academy, VES society and DGC member.

In his spare time, Jon works on his own independent film and art projects. He directed his own short film which screened in many festivals including Berlin International Film Festival and the Montreal World Film Festival.
